🔌 Getting Started
Connect your MeshCore Companion via Bluetooth, then tap the play button to start mapping.
🗺️ Privacy Modes
- Ghost: Your position is delayed by 24 hours
- Normal: Your position is delayed by 3 hours
- Live: Real-time position + active TX mapping
📊 What Gets Mapped
- RX: Packets received from the mesh network
- TX: Discover requests sent to find repeaters (Live mode only)
- HEX: H3 hexagons you've visited
- ADV: Repeater advertisements collected
🎨 Hex Colors
- Purple: Your new mappings this session
- Green: Excellent signal (> -80 dBm)
- Lime: Good signal (-80 to -100 dBm)
- Yellow: OK signal (-100 to -115 dBm)
- Orange: Weak signal (-115 to -125 dBm)
- Blue: Marginal signal (< -125 dBm)
- Gray: Visited but no signal
⚡ Manual Ping
Tap the lightning button to send a manual ping. Has a 2-minute cooldown. Useful for testing coverage at specific locations.
🔄 Auto-Ping (Live Mode)
When enabled, automatically sends pings if no packets are received for 5 minutes. Useful in areas with no mesh traffic. Automatically stops when traffic resumes.
📡 TX Modes (Live Only)
- Discover: Sent every 30s of silence to find nearby repeaters
- Auto-Ping: Activates after 5min without RX in dead zones
🔋 Battery
Shows your Companion's battery level. Updates every 60 seconds.
